Settled in the heart of the Lake District in Bowness-on-Windermere, is this fabulous single-storey accommodation, Loubi’s Lakeside Lodge. Enjoying a sought-after location within the Lake District National Park and less than a stone’s throw away from lake Windermere, whilst featuring stylish interior, an elevated decking area, and well-appointed bedrooms, the lodge welcomes four guests for an idyllic family getaway. Revel in the well-stocked kitchen/dining area, where your loved ones can prepare and enjoy meals together, before snuggling up on the plush sofas to enjoy all your family favourites on a splendid Smart TV. On warmer evenings, open the bi-fold doors to reveal a breath-taking view of the lake, with outdoor furniture to relish in a late-night tipple it boasts a tranquil spot to rejuvenate and admire the unspoilt landscape. As the night unfolds, find two delightful bedrooms, as well as a master bedroom en-suite and splendid family bathroom to freshen up in before your day begins. Suitable to explore Bowness-on-Windermere and its array of wonderful amenities, this property lies on short journey away from a selection of restaurants, pubs, and cafes, as well as the popular tourist destinations of The World of Beatrix Potter, a must-see for fans of the beloved children’s author and National Trust treasures such as Wray Castle and Hill Top. Within proximity to Loubi’s Lakeside Lodge, enjoy a day trip to Ambleside where in the summer months you can take a horse drawn carriage from the centre to Waterhead Pier or hire a rowing boat; for a picnic spot where you can see a fantastic display of insects and wildflowers, be sure to visit Latterbarrow. Further afield, stop off at Kendal Museum, covering local archaeology and natural history, and Blackwell Art Gallery, or for the walking enthusiasts amongst your party, plan your route up Claife Heights Summit, within the National Park. Visitors to the Lake District National Park continue to be drawn to the lively twin towns of Bowness and Windermere because each one offers a variety of adjacent activities, amenities, shops, and restaurants to satisfy all interests. Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness offers a choice of boat cruises and boat rental options to Brockhole, Ambleside, and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). The Old Laundry theatre and the Beatrix Potter World attraction are separated by 1.5 kilometres. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Orrest Head to take in the breathtaking vista of far-reaching views over the lake and nearby fells, which served as the inspiration for Alfred Wainwright to create his series of renowned guidebooks. The historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside, and Troutbeck are only a short drive away, as is Brockhole, which provides high wire tree top experiences. For those with greater energy, marine centres near the lake offer a range of watersports. With easy access to attractions like the stunning Langdales, Beatrix Potter's Hill Top House at Far Sawrey, Coniston, Grizedale Forest Park with its delightful walks and famous outdoor sculptures, mountain biking and "Go-Ape" adventure park, Ullswater, Kendal, Keswick, stone circles, Roman forts, and England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike, the area is perfectly situated for exploring everything this region has to offer by foot, bike, car, railway or bus.
