The spacious open-plan living space is the perfect spot for the family to gather, the kitchen is appointed with all the essentials for a week away and the dining area is wonderful for a spot of home-cooked feasting. After tucking in, unwind in the sitting area, with an electric stove-effect fire providing the perfect ambience for a movie night on the Smart TV. If the weather permits, why not take in the fresh air and admire the views from the enclosed front decking, complete with furniture where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining or a cold tipple. When sleep calls, head down the hallway to the two bedrooms; a king-size with en-suite shower room, and a twin room. Completing the interior is the family bathroom, perfect for an indulgent soak at the end of a long day. In the morning, embark on a journey of discovery in the Lake District starting with Windermere, the largest natural lake in England, and a great spot for boat trips, fishing, and walking. The small village of Troutbeck Bridge lies between the famous towns of Windermere and Ambleside, close to the renowned Kirkstone Pass, within the Lake District National Park. Made up of a scattering of Lakeland cottages, this quiet village offers a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food. The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. With destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach, Troutbeck Bridge is an ideal location for exploring all that the region has to offer.
