The cottages are in the ideal location for large gatherings. Available to book as one stay, these two separate cottages are a short walk from each other and are nestled alongside the formal gardens. A stone’s throw from Norfolk’s best beaches, the estate also gives guests access to a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool and tennis court.

Exclusive and extremely private to escape to, the privately-owned Fring Estate offers these cottages a sublime two-acre walled garden setting, making this a special retreat. You will adore the woodland, parkland, and wildlife, which is in abundance. Nestled in total privacy, peace, and seclusion, you are only a short drive from some of Norfolk’s best beaches at Brancaster and Old Hunstanton, as well as some of Norfolk’s loveliest villages, including Burnham Market and Thornham.

The two cottages that make up The Cottages in the Walled Garden (12) enjoy the same laid back modern rustic style. With a total of five bedrooms and three bathrooms, three sitting rooms and a lovely large south-facing terrace, there are lots of options for where to eat and mingle. Gardener's Cottage sleeps ten, and The Little Potting Shed sleeps two. There are very large dining tables inside and outside Gardener’s Cottage, meaning everyone can dine together.

For guests who prefer a little privacy away from the main group, the romantic The Little Potting Shed is set into the wall of the two-acre garden and offers a romantic hideaway setting - perfect for lovebirds wanting quiet time together.

Both properties have outdoor seating areas with charcoal barbecues. Enjoy seasonal use of the heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis court from the beginning of May to the end September – ideal when you fancy a day ‘at home.’ And when it is time to rest and recuperate after a day of adventure, the beds in both properties are dressed in crisp white linens, with quality mattresses and pillows, to ensure that you have a good night’s sleep.

Five well behaved dogs are welcome. £10 per dog, per night.

The parkland outside the walled garden and behind fences is private.

The duvets and pillows are feather.

Swimming pool and tennis court are open May to September, 10am to 4pm. They are shared by guests at all the properties between these times, outside of this the hall has exclusive use.

Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot.
