This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Church Cottage in Catfield, Norfolk, is praised for its comfortable, well-equipped interiors and tranquil, wildlife-friendly garden. Its peaceful location offers easy access to local attractions, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, the well-stocked kitchen, and the garden's appeal to both children and pets.

Cleanliness

The cottage is generally described as clean, with well-equipped kitchen facilities. However, a few reviews mention a smell of sour milk in the fridge area and a strong damp smell throughout the property, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

Location

The location is highly praised for its tranquility and easy access to local attractions, including the Norfolk Broads and the coast. The peaceful setting opposite a church and the proximity to nature trails contribute to its high score.

Comfort

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy beds and a relaxing atmosphere. However, some concerns about the steep staircase to one bedroom and the interlinked bedroom arrangement slightly lower the score.

Facilities

The property is well-stocked and equipped, with a good kitchen and garden facilities. However, issues with dampness, heating, and maintenance of certain areas, such as the steep staircase and the presence of mould, indicate a need for attention to facilities and maintenance.

Thoughtfulness

Unfortunately we’ve been unable assess this category comprehensively enough based on the reviews we’ve received from guests about this property.
