Other attractions within easy reach are Cromer (7.5 miles), a bustling seaside town with the end of the pier show, and Sheringham (12.5 miles), home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, from where you can take a steam train to the ever-popular town of Holt (18 miles). Coastal footpaths wind along the coast and for the more energetic, there are miles of quiet country lanes to cycle down.
