Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Rear enclosed yard with garden furniture. Public car park, 50 yards away. No smoking. . Set just behind the high street with lovely views from the rear towards the marina and over towards Warkworth Castle this first floor apartment is ideal for couples or a small family. Only a few yards from the shops, cafés and pubs in this friendly small fishing town known as the friendliest port. Just a few minutes’ walk from the harbour where you will find some lovely little eating places and seats to sit and watch the fishing boats coming in.
This comfortable holiday home has plenty of space for 4 and is decorated and equipped to a good standard. Once parked up you can walk everywhere which is lovely on a nice evening to stroll out for a meal or a drink. Set along the harbour are some small restaurants and cafés some selling seafood with outdoor seating so you can sit and watch the boats and the activity along some of the harbour. Sundays are popular with a market in the mornings with the locals and visitors enjoying a stroll amongst the stalls with a fresh fish and meat van. A variety of small pods are home to local business offering bespoke goods, lovely to spend a few minutes on a sunny day. Amble has a fine selection of shops, cafés and plenty of amenities right on the doorstep. If you like a walk, Warkworth is a couple of miles and easily reached via a walk along the estuary, with its castle sat at the top of the hill and little bespoke shops, lovely tea rooms and friendly pubs it is a lovely place for a lunch or evening meal. Alnwick is a 15-minute drive and home to the famous castle used for some scenes in Downton Abbey and Harry Potter, the cobbled streets and history make for a nice day out. Further up the coast are the popular villages of Craster, Beadnell and Bamburgh and of course Holy Island all make a wonderful day trip soaking in the friendly atmosphere, chatting to some of the locals and enjoying some great Northumbrian hospitality.
