Guests have had a delightful stay at Porthole Cottage, praising its fabulous location near the beach and its comfortable, well-equipped nature. The property is noted for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and proximity to local amenities. An enclosed garden is appreciated by pet owners, and special touches like prosecco have been well-received, though such gifts are not guaranteed.
The cottage is consistently described as clean, with one mention of a spotless interior. There was a minor note about a fridge odour, but this seems an isolated comment.
The location is highly praised for its close proximity to the beach and local attractions, contributing to a perfect base for holidays.
Comfort is frequently mentioned, with guests finding the beds comfy and the house cosy. There was a minor point about bed height for those with mobility issues.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped. However, there was a mention of a missing BBQ and a smelly fridge, indicating some room for improvement.
While guests appreciated the prosecco, there are not enough references to other thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.
