Although Bellshill Bothy offers a rural retreat with a huge amount of privacy, it is also situated only a few miles from Belford where there is a small shop, pubs and a tearoom. The welcoming small town of Wooler sits at the foot of the Cheviot Hills around 10 miles inland, and the picture perfect coastal village of Bamburgh is only 5 miles east, with its dramatic fortress that can be seen from the property. The Georgian market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is 20 miles away as is the historic market town of Alnwick, making Bellshill Bothy an excellent base to explore this beautiful part of North Northumberland.
