It’s set conveniently next to the family friendly pub which serves home cooked food, perfect if you want to walk and enjoy a pleasant evening out. Renovated throughout in 2018 the cottage is ideal for couples or a small family. Sycamore Cottage is a welcoming cottage where visitors will love relaxing around the wood burner after a night out. It’s perfectly located for exploring the National Park with the amazing dark sky observatory at Kielder (booking needed) or why not go over to Hadrian’s Wall and visit The Sill a great tourist centre. Corbridge, a pretty Roman town, is an easy drive and a little further is Hexham with it’s Abbey and great choice of shops and eateries. Newcastle-upon-Tyne is easily reached from here and the Heritage coast, peppered with castles and golden beaches makes a great day out. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
