A beautiful stone-built cottage resting in Embleton and close to local amenities, East Farm Croft is an idyllic getaway for a family or two couples looking to explore the many wonders of Northumberland. Park off-road and be welcomed into an open-plan living area with tall ceilings housing historic roof beams, wooden flooring and a theme of pale grey and brown throughout the décor, an ideal social hub for all guests to enjoy. Airy and simply beautiful, the sitting area offers a selection of sofas beside a welcoming woodburning stove, ideal for morning coffee, and when mealtimes call, a fantastic kitchen area in contemporary colours with loads of amenities will cater to your culinary needs, and you can enjoy a meal together at the dining table, and a glass door and skylights draw in natural light. Continuing the beauty of the living area, you will be delighted to discover two bedrooms with contemporary en-suites, including a double with a beautiful old-fashioned headboard and a king-size with built-in cupboards. Outside, enjoy sunsets over the countryside and distant castle as you indulge in a glass of your favourite beverage in the garden. Embleton is a lovely town with a variety of eateries for you to enjoy, and you can stock up on picnic essentials at the local store before heading over to the idyllic sandy beach or walking through Embleton Quarry Nature Reserve. Within easy reach of the property is the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle and from here you can join the Dunstanburgh Castle Walk or try out a game of golf at the local course. Further from the property you will be able to visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and the quaint seaside town around it. Make a coastal getaway to remember with a stay at East Farm Croft.
The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
