You are just steps away from the golden beach and the many attractions in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, and the location is ideal for anyone wishing to explore this beautiful coastline. The apartment is furnished to an exceptionally high standard with lots of character, and there is a nautical theme flowing throughout as well as bold flashes of colour. This is a memorable apartment, ideal for a romantic break away for two. The living area is open-plan with a modern marble topped kitchenette, a dining table and a cosy sofa to lounge on in an evening. The double bedroom is inviting, with soft high quality bedding and cotton velvet throws and cushions.

Blessed by gorgeous local coffee shops and wine bars, Saltburn offers a generous assortment of high quality independent shops for you to laze away the mornings. This is a surfer’s paradise, with an impressive Victorian pier to watch the rolling waves. As one of the hidden gems of North Yorkshire, with 4 miles of sandy beach on the doorstep, incredible views and the whole of North Yorkshire to explore, you will never want to leave.

Enjoy the nearby quirky fishing villages of Staithes, 9 miles, and Robin Hood’s Bay, 27 miles, or the unspoilt sandy beaches of Sandsend, 18 miles, and Runswick Bay, 11 miles. Enjoy the staggering views from the clifftops at Ravenscar, 35miles. Whitby, 22 miles, is steeped in history and there are many visitor attractions that are connected to the town’s fascinating past, such as the Captain Cook Memorial Museum where you can learn about the famous explorer’s life in the port town. A trip to Whitby would not be the same without climbing the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey, exploring the ruins and views which tower over the town.

Helmsley, 35 miles, is a lovely market town in the North York Moors National Park and is the perfect base for enjoying the wider area. There are fascinating attractions, from the National Centre for Birds of Prey, Helmsley Castle, Helmsley Arts Centre and the Walled Gardens, to award-winning eateries and the town’s very own brewery. Enjoy shopping in interesting and unique stores, galleries and boutiques, and the town is even home to the winner of ’Britain’s Best Small Shop 2015’.

Enjoy panoramic views from the summit of Roseberry Topping, 9 miles, a fascinating place to explore for its human and geological history, as well as its abundant wildlife. Walk to the summit then enjoy a lovely pub meal in the pub at Newton under Roseberry. Other attractions include Castle Howard Estate and grounds, 37 miles, one of the finest country houses in North Yorkshire, and Flamingo Land Resort, 32 miles, which is an amazing day out for thrill seekers. This is a beautiful destination all year round, whether you are taking in the sunshine with an ice cream on the beach or watching surfers braving the dramatic waves through the winter months.

Unrestricted on-street parking is available directly outside the property (Marine Parade) as well as private parking on a first come first serve basis in Groveside apartments courtyard (please avoid parking in the first space on the right hand side of entry to Groveside as this space only is allocated to the ground floor apartment).

Please note: The outside entrance to Studio 5 Groveside apartment is via a communal door to a communal area that is joint owned and managed by all apartment owners. Whilst we regularly clean and maintain this area, there are currently outstanding repairs to be made to the internal building that we hope do not impact your stay.
