Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for wood burner included. Rear garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. . This charming detached cottage has plenty of space for all the family to enjoy. The living room has very comfortable sofas and a warming wood burner for those chiller evenings, there’s also a separate seating area in the conservatory. There are two bedrooms, comprising one double and one kingsize, both of which have been stylishly decorated with quality mattresses and furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay along with separate dining room. Outside is a large garden area with seating and steps down to a picture perfect stream.
The old market town of Malpas, which is actually classed as a large village, is under 2 miles away, and has plenty of shops and other amenities. Malpas is home to a Norman motte and bailey castle and consists of half-timbered ancient buildings, a Grade I listed church and Cholmondeley Castle. The property is ideally placed for visiting Chester, North Wales and Shropshire and is within easy reach of a plethora of activities. The historic walled city of Chester has much to offer including Chester racecourse and Chester Zoo, as well as excellent shopping and restaurants. Tarporley, the Delamere Forest and Beeston Castle are also nearby. Llangollen in North Wales is also a great place to explore, with its horse drawn canal barges, steam railway, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which you can canoe over, and white water activities such as rafting, tubing and gorge walking, slightly further afield is Snowdonia National Park. Best of all is the huge range of walks and cycling routes directly from the doorstep.
