Visit the ancient ruins of Pendragon Castle, steeped in the legend surrounding King Arthur, less than half a mile from the cottage. The old market town of Kirkby Stephen is just 4 miles away, set at the foot of the Howgill Fells in the upper Eden Valley, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Here you can browse a wealth of quirky shops, bars, and eateries, or enjoy a picnic where Frank s Bridge crosses the River Eden. Dust off your muddy boots and coats as you step into the entrance hall of this charming cottage.
