Yewbarrow Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its comfortable beds, stunning views, and prime location close to amenities. The property's cleanliness and facilities generally meet expectations, though some guests noted areas for improvement. The thoughtful touches, such as bird feed and games, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant stay in Grange-Over-Sands.
Most guests found the property very clean, with comfortable bedding and well-maintained areas. However, a few reviews mentioned issues with pet hair on sofas and cleanliness in the kitchen, which slightly impacted the overall impression.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to local amenities and the town, offering splendid views and easy access to nearby beauty spots. The uphill walk from town may be challenging for some, but overall, the location is considered excellent.
Guests generally found the beds very comfortable and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. Some guests, however, mentioned that the seating and mattresses may not suit everyone's preferences, and the kitchen layout posed challenges for cooking.
The property is well-equipped with modern conveniences like Netflix and a range cooker. Nevertheless, concerns were raised about the kitchen's layout and the safety of the microwave's placement. The lack of a dishwasher was noted, but not a significant drawback for most.
