This terraced stone cottage is set in the hamlet of Ireby, surrounded by magnificent open countryside less than four miles from Ingleton in the pretty Yorkshire Dales, and four and a half miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. Boasting excellent walks in every direction, including the Three Peaks Challenge, this is an ideal country cottage to enjoy the wild and natural countryside on the doorstep with close proximity to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Devil’s Bridge. The cottage has a cosy sitting room with woodburning stove, a great spot for relaxing after a day out walking. Upstairs you'll find three comfy bedrooms and a family shower room with walk in shower. Outside, there is a patio, ideal for enjoying a refreshing drink, with the extra benefit of a larger garden area situated approx. 100 yards away, which makes a perfect space to let the children run around and have fun. Tumbling through the village is a pretty stream, and from the doorstep is a host of paths and bridleways to explore. Visit nearby Ingleton to explore the famous caves and waterfalls, or head over to the charming market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, with its fabulous restaurants and individual shops. Whilst staying at this quiet corner of the countryside, why not enjoy a drive over to discover the bustling village of Ambleside in the beautiful Lake District? Or stay in Yorkshire to explore all the wonderful Dales have to offer. A very welcoming cottage, perfect for family and friends at any time of year.
The attractive village of Ingleton is nestled beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous 'Three Peaks' on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, the winding streets of this pretty village all converge on a central marketplace. A mile outside of Ingleton and down the Hawes road are the well-known White Scar Caves.
