Cycling enthusiasts will absolutely love the winding country lanes and undulating hills. The Pendle district of Lancashire is famed for its connections to the Pendle Witches, and there are plenty of ways to immerse yourself in the fascinating history behind it including the spooky gift shop based in Newchurch, the Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford and Pendle Sculpture trail. The Pendle Way walking route starts in Sabden offering plenty of scenic walks from your doorstep, taking you past the famous ’lairs’ of the Pendle Witches. Wycoller is also nearby - popular for its Bronte connections.
