This simply stunning end terraced cottage can be found opposite Crime Lake on the outskirts of Manchester, in an area called Daisy Nook. A wonderfully unique find, the cottage has been superbly designed with bi-fold doors opening out onto a spacious decked area complete with pizza oven, barbecue, outside fridge and bar area. A completely enclosed garden and keycode access, means you can truly relax in the beautiful surroundings with both your children and pets. Once inside each and every room is beautifully presented with wonderful attention to detail, from wood panelling on the walls to a roll-top bath and fabulous wood burner, and there is even a convenient pet hatch for your use. The cottage is situated on a country road but it is quite a busy road during the day, and road noise can be heard from the garden areas.
Crime Lake forms part of Daisy Nook Country Park, which is now majority owned by the National Trust. It spans around 40 hectares and is home to a lake, canal, woodlands and wildflower meadows, as well as its own café. Across the road is a long established Italian restaurant, and the neighbouring semi rural village of Woodhouses has a popular pub serving food, which you can walk to in around 10 minutes. The bright lights of Manchester city centre are around a 15-minute drive, or alternatively the local bus top is just a 5-minute walk and Hollinwood Metrolink is around a 20-minute walk, which will connect you to everywhere from the stadiums of Etihad and Old Trafford, to Manchester Arena, and the vast variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Shop 1½ miles, pub ½ mile, restaurant 20 yards.
