As you will see from our ratings, we were delighted with this cottage but please see the following suggestions to improve it further. We noticed that the rug under the dining table was curling at the corners which could have been a trip hazard and we suggest that this is replaced in keeping with the high standard of the other furnishings. We would have appreciated a toast rack and noticed that this was mentioned in the visitor's bookas well. Otherwise it was very well equipped.

We absolutely loved this cottage. The location was amazing - remote, so you felt you were properly in the countryside, but only 2 mins drive away from more major roads which then got us easily to every location in the Peak District. The location was one of the very best we’ve had in the UK. The property was absolutely amazing. It had lots of equipment you don’t normally find in properties like tons of toilet rolls and kitchen roll, bin bags & washing up liquid. Even kitchen foil! The kitchen was lovely to cook in and had everything you might need. There was also an insulated cafetière which came in handy, and an ice cube tray in the freezer. We loved the log burning fire in the lounge and the tv had access to Netflix and BBC iplayer which we appreciated. We had many happy evenings snuggled up watching TV. There was also a sun room which was lovely to sit and relax (we were pretty lucky with the weather). The children loved the table tennis in the games room, and there was plenty of room several cars on the driveway. The showers had great water pressure and all the bathrooms were to a very high standard. The beds were large and comfortable and the cottage was very spacious. There were plenty of amazing pubs serving wonderful food in nearby towns and villages. We would definitely come back again.

A beautifully appointed property with comfort obviously at the top of the owners list. The sun room was a welcome extra when we wanted to sit and read. Plenty of parking and wonderful views.
