This charming cottage sits just outside the heart of Longnor, on a peaceful private lane. Longnor itself is nestled just below the top of a ridge between the Dove and Manifold valleys, providing an excellent starting point for many walks. For those who like to explore the countryside on two wheels, bicycles (pedal and electric) can also be hired locally at various points along the Tissington, High Peak and Manifold Trails. The market towns of Buxton (13m), Bakewell (10m), Ashbourne (17m) and Leek (10m) , with their many antique shops and tearooms, are easily accessible by car or bus. Many Peak District villages set amongst beautiful countryside are well worth visiting including Tissington (13m), Hartington (6m), Eyam (15m) and Tideswell (10m). From May to September, many villages also celebrate the tradition of Well Dressing a tradition unique to the Peak District and Derbyshire. Step into this spacious cottage, and you will find a well equipped and spacious kitchen area, with plenty of space for storage and rustling up tasty meals.
