This well-presented, first-floor apartment sits right in the centre of Marsden, nestled in the South Pennines. Pule Hill boasts a light and airy interior, ideal for two couples seeking a picturesque escape in the Colne Valley. After finding roadside parking, enter the apartment via the rear door into the shared entrance, before climbing to the first-floor landing. Step into the open-plan living space, where you can sink into the sumptuous sofa following a day of exploration, tuning into the Smart TV, and catching up on your favourite shows. Allow the designated chef to impress in the kitchen, utilising the electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer to prepare a delicious meal, while the integrated dishwasher means you won’t have to lift a finger when it comes to washing up! Serve the fruits of your labour at the dining table, toasting to a long-awaited getaway with your nearest and dearest. The bedrooms at this Marsden apartment include two doubles, with the master occupying a convenient en-suite shower room. Pule Hill ticks all the boxes for a memorable retreat in this part of Yorkshire.
A beautiful, scenic village in West Yorkshire's Colne Valley. Marsden is a historic mill community with charming stone buildings, spectacular scenery, and a lovely canal that houses the only professional theatre group that tours by Narrowboat. Marsden is home to award-winning restaurants, historic taverns, and the National Trust-owned Marsden Moor, which has been featured in television productions such as "Last of the Summer Wine" and "The League of Gentleman." Throughout the year, the hamlet holds a number of festivals and events, notably the Marsden Jazz Festival in October. Marsden is well-known among walkers, and in 2010 it was granted Walkers are Welcome status. The Peak District National Park is only a short drive away, and the community is well worth a visit for nature enthusiasts. Huddersfield is a short drive away, and it's a lovely city. Manchester is also close by, and it's a different, busier excursion that's great for shopping.
