Within easy reach of many of the town’s popular landmarks and attractions, including the Rye Heritage Centre, Lamb House and Rye Castle Museum. Known for its historic buildings and cobbled streets, Rye is home to a wealth of friendly pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops, with the church tower offering spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Rye Harbour is just 2 miles away, known for its tranquil nature reserve. Other local attractions include Camber Sands (4.5 miles), Bodiam Castle (13 miles), Great Dixter House and Gardens (9 miles), Hastings Old Town (11 miles) and English Heritage’s 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield (14.5 miles).
Entering this airy and inviting property, head upstairs and into the bright and cheerful open-plan lounge/diner. Cosy up in front of the flame effect fire with a film on the Smart TV or watch boats along the river running past the property. There’s a delightful central dining table, perfect for enjoying meals which you’ve prepared in the fully equipped and stylishly organised kitchen. The first floor also features a refreshing shower room with a walk-in shower and double vanity basin. When it’s time to turn in for the night, return to the ground floor where you will find the three relaxing bedrooms. A colourful super king-size room (can be made into 2 single beds on request) is to the front of the house, alongside two charming double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and the other with patio doors to the garden.
Heading outside, the fully enclosed courtyard has garden furniture and a BBQ, making a pleasant spot for you to sit out and relax with a morning coffee or a drink in the evening. Private parking is available for one car.
