Kitchen: Electric oven, 4 electric hotplates, fridge, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave. Breakfast bar dining table.
Sitting room area: Sofa seating 2, armchair, wood burner (logs provided), Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime apps (account required) and Freesat, DVD player.
Small step up leads to:
Bedroom (sleeps 2): Double bed, Sky TV, French doors to front patio.
En-suite to bedroom: with en-suite shower and TV.
Separate utility/laundry room - with washing machine, freezer and sink.. Outside
Gated gravel drive to the front (parking for 2 cars), lawned garden to the side and raised decking to the rear overlooking a stream, with recliner chair, picnic bench and charcoal BBQ (starter pack of charcoal provided).. Set in peaceful woodland, Priors Barn is an enchanting hideaway surrounded by natural beauty, including a lake and a stream that winds its way through the trees. The stunning raised rear decking extends further into this natural landscape, offering guests tranquility broken only by bird song and the trickle of water.
Dancing sunlight filters through the trees and through French doors, which open onto a outdoor seating area perfect for those long summer evenings. A wood-burning stove and large sitting room make for cosier nights in the winter, next to a superb open plan kitchen ideal for home cooking. There is a comfortable en-suite bedroom to rest weary heads after a day exploring this pretty corner of Sussex.
This cosy little romantic retreat stands on the southern fringes of the ancient Ashdown Forest, with quaint and quirky shops only a 10-minute drive away. Priors Barn is a perfect self-catering cottage in East Sussex, for a couple looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway.

There is a private fishing lake opposite, for which day passes can be purchased (anglers must also have a valid rod licence).There is a stream that runs along the edge of the rear garden; due to this and the lake opposite please ensure children are supervised at all times.The decking may be slippery when wet, please take care.
