A complimentary welcome hamper will be awaiting you on your arrival containing milk, tea, fresh coffee, bread, butter, eggs, juice, wine and cheese, along with other essential items to prepare a light snack or breakfast. There may be some regional variations.

With restored and reclaimed pine flooring throughout the stunning entrance hall encapsulates the feeling of the grand design, with an impressive stairway leading to the galleried landing. What was once the old post office has been transformed into a beautiful sitting room leading into a piano room, which in turn opens into the kitchen/dining room. This open plan area give a great feeling of space with bi-fold doors leading to the patio area, garden and views over the woodlands. The master bedroom features vaulted ceilings, giving a light airy New York loft style feel, with balcony giving fantastic views over the surrounding Hampshire countryside.

The Old Post Office was once a family run business including the Village Stores, Post Office and Bus Stop, thought to have been built in 1907 to serve the Le Court Estate. The property has been sympathetically extended and renovated by the current owners retaining and enhancing many original features with stunning décor and outside, replacing the tiling with handmade clay tiles. The full restoration process featured on a television series.

The nearby market town of Alton has a good range of high street shops and a weekly market plus the popular Watercress Line runs close by with its enchanting steam locomotives. Farnham, Winchester and Basingstoke collectively provide a wider range of shopping facilities as well as a mainline railway station connecting to London Waterloo.
