If you prefer, why not step out onto the enclosed decking and take advantage of alfresco mealtimes on the outdoor furniture with stunning views of the lake as your backdrop; this is also the perfect spot to delight in a coffee and enjoy the morning sun. Visit Milford on Sea's Pleasure Grounds for a stroll in the afternoon; it includes 14 acres of woods with footpaths along the Danes Stream. Take the short drive to the New Forest National Park to experience its serenity, or take a ferry to the Isle of Wight to view The Needles up close, explore Osborne House and Amazon World Zoo Park, or simply unwind on one of the island's lovely sandy beaches.
