Alternatively, experience an African-style safari at Port Lympne Reserve (18.5 miles) and get up close to giraffes, rhinos and lions while touring the expansive grounds.  Pull up into your private parking space and make a beeline for this lovely pitched-roof cottage. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by an inviting open-plan kitchen/dining area benefitting from plenty of natural light through the windows and double patio doors with a glimpse of the sea and the Isle of Sheppey – the perfect place for sociable breakfasts and evenings with your loved ones. Head through to the spacious lounge and take a moment to admire its chic, rustic-style interior, which is bathed in neutral hues and adorned with natural wood furnishings and the owner’s own artwork. When it’s time to eat, head to the smart country-style kitchen area to rustle up some dinner for your loved ones and gather everyone together to dine at the stylish wooden dining table. After dinner, chill out in front of the TV in the lounge, or head to the reading room on the first floor to relax, read, or play a board game.
