About The Royal Wells Hotel

Ideal for business or leisure stays in historic spa town Tunbridge Wells, The Royal Wells Hotel is a great mix of period charm and modern comforts.  The hotel was a favourite with Queen Victoria on her visits to the spa town, and today features the in-house Chalybeate Restaurant and the Beau Nash Tavern.  Guest rooms are fully equipped with all modern comforts including en-suite facilities and free internet access.

Banqueting and conference facilities are perfect for all kinds of celebrations, meetings and events.  The spacious Ephraim Room with private bar and access to the garden is our main function room catering for up to 80 guests, or opt for our more intimate Chalybeate Restaurant seating up to 35 guests.  The hotel is tailor-made for weddings, with a dedicated wedding co-ordinator available in-house and accommodation featuring our sumptuous Honeymoon Suite.

Rooms, Suites & All Inclusive Breaks

All 23 guest rooms have en-suite facilities and some feature antique suites, stripped pine furnishings and brass bedsteads.  Two rooms have romantic antique four poster beds and some have en-suites with deep Victorian tubs. Superior rooms include extras such as bathrobes.  Room selection includes standard single and double rooms, classic single and double rooms, superior single, double and twin rooms, and spacious suites.  Cots and extra beds are available for an additional small fee, and pets are welcome in some rooms for a small extra charge per pet.

Each room includes free internet access, a direct dial telephone, a TV with Freeview channels, a writing desk, hair dryer, and tea and coffee making facilities.  Ironing facilities and a hotel laundry service are available on request, and a Full English or Continental style breakfast is included in your stay.  Why not book one of our all inclusive breaks.  Our Classic breaks include a 2 night stay (available Sunday to Thursday), with dinner on one evening in the Chalybeate Restaurant, and your dinner on the second night half price.  A twin or double room and Full English or Continental breakfast on each morning is also inclusive (available November to April).
