If you fancy venturing into the bustling capital city of London, you can catch the regular train which runs from Haddenham and Thame Parkway to London Marleybone. There is also a multi-storey parking lot, which will have limited spaces during working days. The Oxford Tube runs from Lewknor to Victoria Station with several stops in between like Hyde Park Corner, so you can hop on and off to see your favourite attractions 24/7. The service also runs with same frequency from Lewknor into Oxford City Centre. Lewknor is circa 3 miles towards London on the A40 with limited parking on working days. Make memories at 12 Parkers Hill.
Located between Oxford and Aylesbury, the charming market town of Thame stands out as a must-see in Oxfordshire. Located on the River Thame, this beautiful community is famous for the 1137-founded Thame Abbey, which was subsequently destroyed in 1539 as part of the Reformation's dissolution of the monasteries. The town now has many shops and pubs, such as The Six Bells, The James Figg, and The Black horse, all of which offer a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and tasty pub fare, perfect for special occasions or nights when you just don't feel like cooking for your loved ones. It is also the starting point for the Phoenix Trail, a five-mile path connecting Thame and Princes Risborough that is popular among hikers and cyclists because of the beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside and the nearby Chiltern Hills. In the nearby city of Oxford, history buffs can visit world-renowned institutions like the Ashmolean Museum, The Story Museum, and the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Thame is a great starting point for excursions throughout Oxfordshire.
