Prepare the dining table for a delicious home-made feast or order in a local takeaway from Falmouth. Get comfortable upon the sofa as you flick on the Smart TV and browse for your favourite shows, before heading to the bathroom for a refreshing rinse before bed. The master bedroom offers a double bed and TV, while the second provides a 4ft double which is accessible for only one guest. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the river towards Truro. However you choose to spend your precious holiday time, return to the charm of Charlestown Cottage for an evening of relaxation. The lovely village of St Mawes is located across Falmouth bay, surrounded by the Roseland Peninsula's rocky coves, sandy beaches, and lush green countryside. You can drive (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth to get there (15 minutes). The Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a diversity of fauna, is a must-see for nature lovers. A golf course is also available.
