In the heart of the picturesque village of Boscastle, on a bustling little residential lane is Jordan House, a stylish semi-detached family home, filled with character and set on three levels. Much of the surrounding landscape and coastline is National Trust owned, scenery so impressive it is said to have been an inspiration to novelist Thomas Hardy who met his sweetheart Emma here whilst working as an architect on the church tower.

A Cornish village, Boscastle has shops, restaurants and pubs serving food. Cliff tops, rocky coves, surf, open fields and wildlife fill the area. The coastal footpath passes through scenery whilst the beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are within 5 miles. The surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are also accessible. Nearby is Tintagel, boasting stately homes and gardens, or the open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
