A town bus operates in the area making getting around really easy for those who want to leave the car in the drive and maybe enjoy a few drinks down at the harbour. There are many local attractions to visit including Fowey Aquarium, Readymoney Cove and If you're a fan of Daphne du Maurier, you may want to visit the Literary Centre, which gives information and exhibits about the author and her life and work.  There is also the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, in which du Maurier, and many other authors, artists and musicians, are celebrated.  Another great spectacle is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August.
