Kitchen area: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and tiled floor.
Bedroom: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Small front terrace with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. .
Located in East Taphouse, this detached, single-storey, lodge style property is nestled in the grounds of the owner’s home. The spacious, open-plan living space boasts a contemporary, light and bright design, with large corner sofas, which are perfect for snuggling into on an evening. The French doors open out onto the small terrace area with a seating area, which is a great place for al fresco dining.
Swallows Rest provides idyllic accommodation for couples, both young and old, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you are looking for a central base from which to explore the wider region of Cornwall, then this is a perfect spot to choose.
Boasting a central location, there are many key tourist attractions that Cornwall has to offer situated close by, including the fishing town of Fowey and Looe, and the coastal village of Polperro. Also within easy reach are the many beautiful gardens on the south coast. The historic city of Plymouth is just a short drive away, where there are many sandy, surfing beaches on the north coast, including Newquay with its zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium.
Alternatively, why not visit the harbour towns of Port Isaac, where the TV series of Doc Martin is filmed, and Padstow, with its variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Beach 10½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
