Directly opposite the cottage and patio area is a detached garden where you can enjoy a refreshing beverage in the afternoon sunshine after exploring the Cornish countryside or a beach trip. Both Downderry and Seaton are the closest beaches to this property and are within a 20 minute drive through the lanes. The market town of Liskeard hosts a wealth of independent shops from quirky fashion stores to vintage antique shops, as well as offering a selection of restaurants and pubs if you prefer to dine out. There’s even a railway station with direct travel available from London and Birmingham if you prefer to travel by rail. You can also travel by train from Liskeard Station to Looe. The coastal town of Looe is well worth a visit, with a picturesque port providing an idyllic seaside atmosphere, or head further afield to the popular cosmopolitan town of Plymouth with its theatre, aquarium and nearby beaches at Bovisand and Wembury. Outdoor adventures can be enjoyed roaming the spectacular Bodmin Moor, a remote heather covered granite moorland which is popular for walking, cycling and horse riding.
