The cottage and grounds are very well kept. The beds and sofas are very comfortable,loads of storage everywhere,well equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) but that didn't bother us, the only thing we thought it needed is a grab rail in the bathroom. We would all love to stay there again in the future. Lostwithiel is a beautiful little town with lovely independent shops and lots of friendly pubs to eat and drink in.

Located very close to village & near the river. Co op very well stocked for a small store. Takeaway across the way the best I have ever had. No problem with parking. No noise from adjoining cottage. Slight niggles. Water doesn't get very hot so no need to add any cold to the bath. Black walls in bathroom show up all limescale marks so appears not to be clean, when it probably is. Rail in kitchen knocked off regularly as too close to fridge. Glass coffee table in living room had me a bit nervous. I do think if there were 4 adults staying the living area would be a bit cramped. I would definitely stay again, but would go for the larger cottage next door I think for a but extra room.

Everything we could want, comfortable, very clean, warm, plenty of hot water, parking and welcoming. One of the best cottages I have stayed in. Can't fault it at all. And in the lovely town of Lostwithiel. Absolutely 5 star.
