Out of four zip-and-link bedrooms, each ready to be made up as a super-king-size or a twin, find two bedrooms downstairs on the ground floor. One of these also offers the added benefit of an en-suite wet room. Find the remaining bedrooms up a single flight of stairs, each as spacious and comfortable as the last. To complete the property’s offering, exit into the garden to find a tranquil spot with a BBQ and uninterrupted views.
Take the tree-lined country road a short distance to reach the pretty village of Mawgan Porth (1 mile). A golden sand destination awaits here, made for afternoons of sunbathing, ball games and touring the rugged coastline that sits on either side of this west-facing beach. Take a walk along the coast up to Carnewas at Bedruthan (3 miles) to admire almighty views over rugged rock stacks, a pleasure to admire in sunny weather and a dramatic spectacle to marvel when the conditions aren’t as pleasant.

Fantastic holiday at watergate. Location was brilliant- lovely and quiet, a nice stream with a rope swing the children loved it. The cottage was immaculate with all the equipment you could need. Beautifully clean. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Great WiFi. Would throughly recommend staying here. Lovely patio area and outside furniture. Really happy we booked to stay here and had a really lovely time in a lovely relaxing cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Such a well-equipped and beautifully presented house, which we had a brilliant week in this half term. It very much seems that the house is very new and we felt very lucky to stay in it! Trevor was so welcoming and the house had everything we needed, along with being in a brilliant location - it was a lovely touch arriving to scones, cream, jam and milk too! Would recommend without hesitation - we will definitely be back!

My family stayed here over New Year. The accommodation was beautifully clean and cosy with flowers on the table and some champagne in the fridge as well as some chocolates for us on arrival. Lovely big living space for all the family to come together for meals and games evenings.
