The Carthouse is a beautifully converted barn in the town of Mitchell near Newquay, a spacious open-plan cottage filled with natural light. The Plume of Feathers is an excellent pub only a few minutes down the road and there are plenty of countryside walks in the surrounding areas. Conveniently situated not too far from the A30, both the North and South coasts are within easy striking distance. Perranporth, Holywell and Crantock beaches are 10- 15 minute drive away.

Cannot fault the accommodation at all. The location is great just off the A30, 2 minutes walk from the fantastic Plume of Feathers. No garden for the dog as another guest said but there are a few grass verges near the property for first and last. The Cart House itself is pristine with top end appliances, fixtures and even the beautiful bedroom wallpaper. The utensils and crockery look brand new and the bed is so comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and easily contactable and left some lovely welcoming essentials. Would highly recommend staying here. Looking forward to our next stay.
