Lavender Cottage is open-plan, single-storey accommodation, tastefully furnished in a contemporary style and packed with features such as vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and a cosy wood burning stove. The bespoke, shaker style kitchen is well-equipped for creating a romantic dinner for two, using the delicious and plentiful array of local produce from one of many nearby farmers' markets. From the living area, two steps lead down to the double luxurious bedroom with comfy king-size bed and en-suite bathroom.
The cottage has a pretty enclosed patio area with garden furniture where you can fire up the barbecue and enjoy dining al-fresco on a summer's evening.
The setting at Gonwin Manor is stunning, with its own private lake enjoying breath-taking views to the beach and beyond. Guests staying at the cottages can enjoy the shared pontoon, an idyllic spot to watch the sun go down at the end of the day with a glass of wine. Lavender Cottage makes the ideal romantic escape to the Cornish coast.

Although this is ground floor accommodation, there are two internal steps down to lower ground floor bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

We stayed in Gonwin Manor before and really liked the location. Unfortunately not a lot has been invested in the place in the recent years. The bed in the Lavender Cottage is ridiciously small for 2 adult persons. My husband is around 1.95m and his feet were hanging in the air, I fell out one night on the floor and hurt my head at the night stand because there is simply no space in the bed to manouver. The vacuum cleaner was broken at the connecting piece and needed to be hold together by hand while operating. Very bad when you have to vacuum everyday because of all the sand brought in from the beach. Not enough storage space for cloths (one small wardrobe in the bedroom). Positive: Great & quiet location, kitchen is well equipped, couch was comfy, enough space in the cottage & bathroom

Its the second time we've been to Godwin Manor but the first time in Lavender Cottage. It is a lovely complex, in a great location, perfect for dogs, very clean, very tidy and the cottage was very well equipped.

Well appointed, good position but more information on local area and on heating system. Would recommend these cottages.
