About four miles from the picturesque fishing harbour of Padstow and less than a ten minute drive from the beautiful North Cornish coast with its famous Seven Bays for Seven Days, Rosken Farm is set in wonderful countryside just outside the village of St Merryn.  This group of individually renovated stone cottages are set around a courtyard each benefiting from its own enclosed garden with the added bonus of a shared tarmac outdoor play area with badminton, skittles, basketball and other open air games available.

Accessed via a narrow farm lane and surrounded by fields which visitors are welcome to mindfully explore provided they observe the "country code", there are also riding stables close by who offer day/evening boarding for dogs on their 15 acre farm.  Trevose Golf Club and the lovey sandy beaches of Harlyn Bay, Constantine, Trevone and Treyarnon are all within three miles and St Merryn village, 1.5 miles, has a selection of local shops, pubs, and licensed restaurants.

Guests staying at any of these properties can claim a £5 discount off the green fee at the Merlin Golf Club (Mawgan Porth), a 20% discount off green fees at Mullion Golf Club (Cury, Helston) and discounts are also available at Bowood Park Golf Club (Lanteglos, Camelford). £5 off if you book 2 lessons per person with Waves Surf School.  The cottages each have their own character and are a favourite for families and friends who wish to holiday together but benefit from independent accommodation.  There is ample parking space on-site.

Tucked into one corner of the courtyard, Quackers (formerly known as Dove Cottage) is a comfortable single storey semi-detached cottage approached from its own gravel driveway with parking space for 2 cars.  A level concrete path leads round to the entrance at the rear where the stable door and one step leads up to a useful porch area with coat pegs.

From here, an inner door opens directly to a fully fitted kitchen with a brick archway leading through to an adjacent beamed living room with dining table and chairs, comfortable lounge seating and some original exposed stonework.

To one side, a door leads off to an inner hallway and three pleasant bedrooms; a master king-size double, a second king-size bedroom, and a small twin bedded room.  A bathroom W.C. with wash basin and shower over the bath and an adjacent cloakroom W.C. with hand basin completes the accommodation, which is entirely on the level.

From the hall, a stable door and two shallow steps lead down to the enclosed garden with a slate paved patio housing a picnic table, small lawn, and side pedestrian gate leading to the shared outdoor play area.
