Overlooking the neighbour's field, you can often see their horses rolling on the grass for a good back scratch. The kitchen leads into a large dining room where an AGA sits within an arched stone fireplace, heated year-round so you will always have a warm cosy place to enjoy dinner and discuss the day's adventures. The cottage wraps round to a sitting room with a woodburning stove and comfy seating for six, as well as a small porch with a seat for one, perfect for a spot of reading, or some quiet time to take in the scenery. Upstairs there are three bright and spacious bedrooms including a double and twin room. The third bedroom has bunk beds and a door providing access to a fantastic decked balcony with sea views on clear days. The bunk room also provides access to the main bathroom where you can enjoy a relaxing soak in a huge freestanding bath. The window is at the perfect height, allowing you to marvel at the cottage's beautiful setting whilst you unwind after a long walk along the coast. You will also find a shower room on the ground floor beside the kitchen. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a lovely garden surrounding a pond with its own resident frogs. Although it feels secluded, Tintagel's bustling high street can be reached in 10 minutes on foot across fields. The cottage is in a perfect location for walkers, just a short distance from the South West Coastal Path with Tintagel Castle a little further away. Below the castle, you can also enjoy a trip to Merlin's Cave, full of atmosphere evoking the spirit of the King Arthur legend. Newquay is less than an hour away, but as the entire North Cornish coastline is peppered with magnificent beaches, you can enjoy swimming, surfing and bodyboarding with ease. Tintagel is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, and stunning scenery. Several beaches, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. The SW Coastal Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside.
