You can also explore the golden sandy beaches of Saunton Sands (2.5 miles), Croyde (4 miles), Putsborough (5 miles) and Woolacombe (6.5 miles). The bustling seaside town of Ilfracombe (8 miles) features a range of shops and galleries, or you can take a boat trip out to the beautiful Lundy Island.
