Lyndon is a completely refurbished Victorian terraced house with accommodation on three levels and ocean views from all front rooms. Lovingly restored by the owners, they have retained a wealth of original features together with modern facilities such as solar hot water and Cat6 WiFi throughout. The interior design is a thoughtful, attractive mix of contemporary and antique furniture. Outside, steps lead up to the landscaped rear garden that benefits from being south facing with a sun deck. A wisteria-covered pergola surrounds the circular wooden table and chairs. There is a brick built barbecue making the rear garden ideal for al fresco dining.

The home has high ceilings, tall windows and is full of light. On the ground floor the Victorian mosaic tiled entrance hall leads through to the living/dining room with a large bay window and soft seating in front of the grand open fireplace. The open fire makes Lyndon just as appealing for an autumn break or festive gathering. The dining area has a matching ornamental fire surround. To the rear of the house is the modern fully fitted kitchen, with floor to ceiling glazed doors leading out to the small courtyard with the garden inviting you up the steps to enjoy the fragrant planting and pretty surroundings.

Upstairs are four bedrooms all with wooden flooring and set over two levels. The master bedroom has a king size four poster, a handbasin and offers extensive sea views. Also on the first floor is a twin room with garden views. The large bathroom with Victorian slipper bath and shower is just down a few steps and accessed from the half landing. The second floor features a double bedroom with views over Ilfracombe Harbour and 'Verity', together with a twin room (with garden views) and a shower room.

Ilfracombe has a wide variety of attractions including the famous Tunnels Beaches and the Landmark Theatre. You can walk to the picturesque harbour in 10 minutes, home of Damian Hurst's sculpture 'Verity'. Boat trips to Lundy Island and  fishing trips can be taken from here and you will also find a good choice of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants. Opposite the house you can walk across the field and down to Rapparee beach, an enclosed pebble and sandy cove, great for sunbathing and rock pooling. Only a short walk away, keen ramblers can access the South West Coastal path that meanders around the stunning coast line to Exmoor in one direction and towards the area's wonderful golden sandy beaches, in the other direction. Woolacombe Beach, voted the UK's best beach, is a 10 minute drive away. The beach stretches along the coast for 3 miles to Putsborough sands. Woolacombe has a dog friendly section and rolling surf, a big attraction for surfers, water sports and hang gliding. If you fancy a dip closer to your holiday home, there is also an indoor swimming pool at the end of the road. Ideal for large families or groups of friends, Lyndon truly has an all year round appeal.
