Located just outside of Dittisham in Devon, The 1956 Vintage American Airstream is a retro American Airstream that has been renovated to the highest standard to deliver a unique glamping experience. With highly-polished chrome panels and iconic curves, this hideaway boasts a private Oak Japanese wood-fired bath spa, double hammock, and even air conditioning.

For a little history - this particular Airstream is a 'Sovereign of the Road' and was owned by a member of Wally Byam's (founder of Airstream trailers) Caravanners Club. It is number 1234 and has the original stickers from a 1961 Omaha, Nebraska meeting still on its windows. This quirky hideaway is nestled into a corner within a private woodland, making it a great place to escape. Inside the Airstream the furnishings are in keeping with the retro style; cosy down on the burnt orange leather sofa and watch a film on the Smart TV with a hot cup of coco or glass of wine. The fully equipped kitchen has cleverly hidden appliances such as an induction hob, oven, coffee machine, fridge with ice box and dishwasher. Along with the Smart TV, there are many mod cons including a sound system, WiFi, underfloor heating and air conditioning. There is a power shower in a separate bathroom along with a WC and basin. Outside, its like having your own private club. There is a wood-fired bath spa, double hammock, dining area with BBQ and parasol, outdoor chess set and table of football. An EV charger and a dog/boot wash area are situated in the car park.

To help you settle in, a welcome hamper is provided which includes tea, coffee, bread, butter, and jam. Also included, the complimentary bottle of wine is perfect for enjoying on a warm sunny afternoon or a cosy winter evening spent by the fire.

One small well behaved dog welcome for an additional £50 charge, with bowls and treats provided. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times on site.
