This peaceful cottage attached to unused barns is situated next to the farmhouse on a 170 acre traditional Devon in lovely countryside half a mile from Malborough. Sheltered in a sunny spot, it is tranquil accommodation for relaxing or enjoying the nearby beaches and coast. Two glass doors open into your open plan living space, all well equipped and comfy with a cosy wood burning stove for curling up beside. Handily on the ground floor is a double bedroom with use of a shower room. The other two bedrooms with wash basins are both upstairs, with attractive garden views from the double, and sharing a bathroom. On sunny days, there is the patio for sitting out and having barbecues and the big enclosed garden is a lovely place to run or stretch out on the lawn, or wander out on a clear night for amazing starry skies. If you are feeling active, there is plenty to do in the area with a cycle track to the interesting boaty town of Salcombe from the village and footpaths to the Coast Path with its spectacular cliff top views. Bigbury Bay and Hope Cove both offer lovely sandy beaches for surfing and building sandcastles. Or if shopping is your thing, Salcombe and Kingsbridge will have all the little independent boutique shops you could wish for, as well as places for refreshments if you choose not to eat at the two pubs in Malborough village. Withymore Cottage is an excellent base for enjoying the stunning surroundings of the South Hams or simple tranquillity.
