Promising stunning sea views, this pretty coastal chalet is perfect for a couple and their four-pawed plus one. Just a mile from the golden beach at Blackpool Sands, it has a private patio and open-plan layout to enhance guests’ together time. Part of a small development along a country lane in peaceful Stoke Fleming, this single-storey property sits above the waters of Start Bay, where the panoramic views appear almost Mediterranean.
Romantic, compact and charming all at once, it welcomes you into a lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen where you can cook, chat and catch up in comfort – unwind with a movie or simply drink in the uninterrupted sea views. The small-but-beautiful bedroom close by is divine, with dual-aspect windows and an inviting double bed' adjacent is a convenient shower room. Beyond the patio doors is a private seating area – enjoy sundowners as you watch for dolphins and seabirds. Shared, sloping gardens allow you to stroll further.
Just 3 miles from Dartmouth, the cliff-top village of Stoke Fleming lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides panoramic views over one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the UK. Walkers can join the South West Coast Path within the village' 1 mile away is Blackpool Sands, a golden beach backed by forest. Spend laid-back days discovering Dartmouth (3 miles) – the thriving riverside town has shops, pubs and eateries to suit every taste. Immerse yourself in the nation’s maritime history with a tour of the iconic Britannia Royal Naval College. Head to the harbour and you can book a boat trip out to sea, or jump on a ferry across the water to Kingswear for a ride on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway.
