Separate to the kitchen is the utility room, with washing machine, tumble dryer and bread maker. The living area has a large sofa, armchairs and a 40” TV/Sky/DVD unit. There is an array of music, films and games included in the large storage cupboard. To the rear of the room is a dining table seating six, behind which are French doors leading to the covered patio area, perfect for al fresco dining and watching sunsets. Leading directly to 1.5 acres of communal gardens (including sheltered sunken garden and barbecue area) the gardens are extensive.
The master bedroom is spacious and enjoys views reaching across the gardens and to the sea beyond. Comfortably furnished, there is a King-size bed, armchair, ample clothes storage, TV/DVD unit and ensuite bathroom with a large powerful shower. The second bedroom has two single beds, whilst the third bedroom has full-size bunk beds. Additionally, there is a family bathroom with bath, and separate overhead shower.
Baby friendly, the property comes fully equipped (including travel cot, highchair, and children’s utensils, plates, cups and bowls). Free wireless broadband internet is provided, as is one allocated parking space. Two dogs are permitted.
The coastal village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the popular sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. Just a 10-15 minute drive away is the sailing town of Salcombe, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is also a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path, offering stunning panoramic sea views.
