Gently nestled into the rolling hills of the Longcombe Valley, this beautifully designed grand-designed barn conversion sits on 20 acres and is the perfect retreat for those looking for something unique. Longcombe itself perches near the charming town of Totnes, thus offering picture-postcard walking trails and the ear-teasing sounds of crackling twigs underfoot moments from your doorstep, adding a sublime backdrop for your idyllical Devon getaway. The quaint village exudes a timeless charm with its picturesque landscapes, enveloping visitors in a sense of tranquillity. Explore the nearby medieval town of Totnes (2 miles), known for its unique boutiques, artisanal shops, and a vibrant local market. The surrounding areas unfold a tapestry of natural wonders, from the meandering River Dart to the lush greenery of Dartington Hall Gardens (4 miles). The home also acts as a gateway to many South Devon treasures, including the historic Totnes Castle (3 miles) and the scenic Dartmoor National Park (9 miles).
Feel relaxed from the moment you arrive at this beautiful reverse-level home, slipping off those sandy shoes or well-used walking boots before opening your eyes to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with attention to detail, eco features and stylish accents throughout. Making your way through the home will lead you through the additional reception room, functioning predominately well as a games room with further cosy seating, a Smart TV ready for a Wii console along with a variety of toys, books and board games.
