About this property
This attractive barn conversion offers an idyllic retreat, where peace and tranquillity is assured, allowing you to relax and soak up your surroundings. Enjoy a day on the beach, within 5 miles drive is the Victorian seaside town of Westward Ho! known for its long sandy beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park. It also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and amusements. The market town of Bideford is just 2 miles from the barn and provides an abundance of cafes, pubs, and the famous pannier market. Enjoy walking and cycling on the Tarka Trail, Tapley Park, the quaint streets of Appledore rich with maritime history and where in summer you can catch a passenger ferry across the river to Instow. National Trust Arlington Court or visit the steep cobbled streets at Clovelly, the choice is yours.
Step into this barn accessed via the French doors and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With comfy seating you can relax after a busy day and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV or cook a meal in the well-equipped kitchen area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. When you are ready for bed, there is a king-size bed with access to the shower room with WC.
Heading outside you will find an enclosed courtyard with seating. Excellent views can be enjoyed from the grounds and a separate paddock is available for you to exercise your four-legged friend off lead. Alpacas are often in the adjoining fields and by arrangement you can help feed and pet.
