(4 miles) and head to the 1.5-mile-long sandy beach for a walk, then go out for fish and chips in the village. For more places to eat out, visit the pretty fishing villages of Appledore (6 miles) and Clovelly (8 miles) with eateries for all tastes and a good choice of shops too.
