Two steps down from the parking area brings you to the patio and entrance to the cottage. Step inside and this bijou accommodation has all you need for a comfortable stay. An open plan living space on the ground floor has a settee for evening relaxing, a neat dining space is tucked into a corner and a fully equipped kitchen will allow you to rustle up meals if you are not dining in the clubhouse onsite. You will find a ground floor shower room and a double bedroom on a galleried mezzanine first floor with ample storage tucked into the low eaves. Outside to the front, the cottage benefits from a spacious enclosed patio garden with table and chairs to sit and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. You a welcome to use the facilities on site including the well stocked fishing lakes, bar, restaurant and shop. An ideal base to enjoy as a couple or with friends at any time of year

It's in a lovely setting and plenty of areas for a nice walk I understand its to do with staffing especially when its so quiet but would of been nice if the bar and restaurant was open in the day. Even if was just to sit in and relax ( maybe the bar could have a pull down so doesn't need manning ) especially as we had guests visiting us for a few hours And maybe add a drinks vending machine especially as there's no shop to walk outside of the on-site shop opening hours. We would come again tho as was a lovely place to relax and recommend it to anyone thinking of booking.
