Peace Cottage is the perfect base for a small family or friends wishing to explore this picturesque area, which offers an abundance of lovely walking and cycling opportunities.

Peace Cottage has a cosy sitting room with electric fire, and a door leading outside to the terraced garden and seating area from where the wonderful rural views can be enjoyed. There is a well-equipped country style kitchen and dining area with seating for three guests. On the first floor is a large dual aspect comfortable double bedroom, a further single bedroom, and a family bathroom to complete this little gem.

With the centre of the historic hilltop town of Shaftesbury just a ten-minute walk away, there is an excellent range of facilities nearby including an array of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the picturesque cobbled Gold Hill of Hovis advertisement fame, and the ancient Abbey Gardens with their stunning views. Further afield, yet all within easy travelling distance of the cottage, are numerous popular attractions including the stunning National Trust house and gardens of Stourhead, Longleat House and Safari Park, unique Stonehenge and the great cities of Bath and Salisbury. The cottage provides an excellent base for exploring Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire at any time of the year.

Up to two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). The garden is fenced and secure.

Infant welcome, however no baby equipment is provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own travel cot which may be placed in the single bedroom if not in use.
