From the parking area, there is a ramp leading up into the private entrance of the property, which is attached to the owner's home yet assures complete privacy. Inside, the living room is warm and welcoming, with two grey sofas and pops of colour throughout. The feature exposed brick fireplace with a crackling wood burner and the tall windows which allow light to pour in make this a wonderful space to kick back and relax at all times of the day, reading a book or watching films on the TV. To one side is a dining table seating four, right by the window offering panoramic views of the rolling countryside during mealtimes. For cooking up a meal, the country-style kitchen has ample space and all the facilities you could need, as well as an additional dining table with chairs for two. There are two tastefully decorated bedrooms, one a king-size boasting an en-suite shower room and the other a king with an en-suite shower room. Both rooms have direct access to the garden through a set of patio doors, a perfect way to start the day. The rear garden area is a suntrap terrace which is a delight in the evening whilst at the front is a raised deck with seating.
Located in a peaceful location surrounded by stunning countryside yet just 2 miles from Bridport, this cottage is fantastically located to make the most of all of Dorset’s finest attractions. Head to Lyme Regis (6 miles) for a day of fossil hunting at the beach and dining out at the quaint independent eateries or head to Hive Beach (5 miles) to soak up the sea views. Another great day trip on offer is touring of one of the pretty villages nearby such as Sumondbury (1.5 miles) where you can wander the streets and head off on a picturesque walking trail around Colmer’s Hill.
